Sun 8th March - we love pasta n pesto!

Hmmmm….what time did we all surface?! About lunchtime!! But luckily, no sore heads. There’s a shock!! Aaron can’t really remember getting in and was feeling a bit ruff around the edges – haha. We end up filling him in on various parts of the night and he tries to remember how he got home. We’re all dying on some hangover grub so head for the mecca that is Maccie D’s – right in the centre of town. We pass a few car rental places and the rate is really quite good, so we end up booking car hire for the next 3days – yay!! I’m so excited to be actually ‘doing’ something and seeing stuff that’s a bit off the beaten track! We’ve hired a wee dinky car – Hyundai Getz – and we get to pick it up tomorrow at 9am. We take a wee look around the Tourist Info Centre to get ideas for our trip and end up asking the lady for some ideas and maps. She’s really helpful and she hands us a stack of maps with various routes plotted out on them – whooohooo – adventure time!!!
After visiting Woolworths (yup, it still exists over here, although not as we know it –it’s a SUPERMARKET!!) we take a slow walk back to the hostel. It’s been pretty muggy and overcast so we head back for a shower (number 2 of the day) before cooking up a feast of pasta n pesto – student dinner here come!!
We all end up having an early nite as we’re knackered from last nights’ shenanigans and we’re up early tomoz.
