We all have a nice long lie-in and get started on all of our washing – the Sunday ritual! As it’s Tom’s birthday on Tuesday, everyone is doing lots of baking this weekend and I get cracking with making Ginger Crunch – basically a Ginger slice with a crunchy biscuit base and ginger icing….can you tell I had a box of ginger spice to use up!?
Rachel is in full baking mode as well and we end up pigging out on a shed load of stuff – from home made oreos, to slices of ginger crunch and then Dave makes bread which is the size of a small country! It’s so good to think that we get another lie-in tomorrow –yay! However, I’m so stuffed that I don’t think I’ll be getting much sleep tonight….
