Whoohooo – a week and a day to go – the countdown is on! We all trudge outside and everyone can feel the severe drop in temperature…..it is baltic – ok, I maybe exaggerating but it’s cold when all you have is a thin hoody and a scarf (one of them fashion ones, not a proper woolly one). What makes the start to the day more uncomfortable is the fact that Ginger man is late again. Why can’t he be here at 7am or just tell us that from now on, it will be 7.10am – no biggie, just so we know!! ARGH!!! And no apology!!! Double ARGH!!! Where are his manners?! Well, he aint getting a good morning from me – pah!
The novelty of Granny Smiths is still rife in the packhouse; however, later on in the afternoon, it does get a little too hectic with them flying off the lines. I’m sure I must pick the fast conveyor belts……hey ho, 6 more working days….
Once back at the hostel, we manage to persuade Aaron to come to Vegas! He’s just so worried about spending all his hard earned cash there…..he says I will have take his wallet off him – even if he’s being a gimp and refusing to hand it over…great, going to love that job! Wrestling with a drunk, stubborn Aaron over his wallet in Vegas – who would do that!? Anyhoo, it also looks like Michael Niven will be able to catch a flight from Canadia to Vegas – muchos fun! Can’t wait for holiday fun to begin!
